Passed in peace Wednesday July 6, 2022 at the age of 76. He was a Beloved husband,  father, grandfather and great grandfather. He is survived by his young adulthood sweetheart and wife of 52 years Linda, 5 children, Trinidad Jr., Kimberly, Tamara, Michael and Alyssa, 16 grandchildren,  2 great grandchildren, (plus a set of twins on the way) and sister Betty P. (Dolly). At the early age of 20, son of Mr. and Mrs. MARCUS A Lopez, 920 S 5th St Colton, he was assigned to the 4th Infantry Division in Vietnam. PVT. Lopez was a light weapons infrantryman in the division's 3rd Brigade. He entered the Army in May 1966 and was last stationed at Ft. Polk, La. He was then promoted to speacialist four in Dau Tieng, Vietnam. Spec. Lopez, was a rifleman with Company A, 2nd Battalion of the 4th Infantry Division's 22nd Infantry. He was then assigned at Ft. Lewis, Wash. During his Service in the U.S.
military he was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal,

Expert Badge (Rifle) and Vietnam Service Medal. His legacy of bravery and selflessness is apparent as he was wounded as a result of enemy action and became a recipient of the Purple Heart. Trinidad graduated in 1964 from Colton Union High School and attended San Bernardino Valley College. His career began in Corrections holding various titles and ended as a Correctional Counselor 2. After 30 yrs he retired and enjoyed his life to the fullest. His hobbies included restoring   classic cars. His enjoyment was  camping with his family, boating at the river and traveling. Favorite past times involved family backyard barbques and family gatherings. Our Hero Trinidad V. Lopez will greatly be missed and treasured in our hearts forever!
