Salvador Jacobo was born on March 11th ,1939 in the city of Mezacala De La Asuncion, Jalisco, Mexico. The eldest of 9 children born to Marcela and J.Luz Jacobo. He came to the United States more than 40 years ago to provide a better life for his growing family with wife Virginia Jacobo. His children Rafa, Norma, Rosalva, Nancy, Jose and Marisol Jacobo could not have asked for a better father. Our dad was a caring, loving, silly and fun loving man. There was always a smile on his face or a joke to be told when he was around. He instilled a strong work ethic, love for family, respect for elders and self-independence in all his children. He taught us the value of hard work but a the same time told us to slow down and enjoy life. He always said you couldn’t take money to the grave, so best to live life now. Our dad was a humble, happy and honorable man who was a hero in our eyes. He loved his family and his town more than life. Although he was away from his beloved hometown, he always made sure to provide for family who stayed. His love also made him a proud member/co-founder of Club Mezcala de la Asuncion. He was very proud of his hometown and would visit whenever the resources and time was available. Our dad was an amazing man and will be missed greatly by all who knew him. He is now a guardian angel over his wife, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Thank you for your thoughts, prayers, and condolences for our family during this time. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Rachal's Funeral Home FD-2.
