Rita Contreras

Rita Contreras, born on July 14, 1939, in Jalisco, Mexico, passed away peacefully on January 17, 2025. She lived a full and vibrant life, cherished by those who had the privilege of knowing her. Rita's journey took her across borders and cultures, finding her way to a new life in the United States, where she continued to spread warmth and compassion. She embraced every opportunity to connect with others, leaving a lasting impression on friends and family alike.

Her memorial services will commence with a visitation on February 8, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Deco Familia Rosecrans Funeral Home, located at 8545 Rosecrans Ave, Paramount, CA, 90723. Friends, family, and all whose lives she touched are invited to celebrate her life.

A Mass in her honor will be held on February 10, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of the Rosary Parish, located at 14815 Paramount Boulevard, Paramount, CA, 90723. Following the Mass, Rita will be laid to rest during a burial ceremony at Live Oak Memorial Park, located at 200 E Duarte Rd, Monrovia, CA, 91016, at 12:00 PM.

Rita Contreras will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
