We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our beloved Petra L Garcia, or as
we all knew her, "Pat." She had a vibrant spirit, a passion for music, and an unbeatable
strength that touched the lives of many. Pat was a free-spirited person who knew how to
have a good time and embraced life with open arms. She loved her family
wholeheartedly, including her nieces, nephews, siblings, aunts, uncles and everyone who
was part of her life.
Pat was fortunate to have two amazing moms, Deyanira and Esther, who both loved her
dearly. The depth of their love matched Pat's own affection for them. When we think of
Pat, we remember the boundless love she shared with her moms and the beautiful
memories we created together as a family.
In addition to her two moms, Pat also had a beloved sister who held a significant place
in her heart. Alongside her nieces, nephews, brothers, and the rest of her family, they all
provided immense love and unwavering support. Each family member played a special
role in Pat's life, creating a strong bond and cherished memories that will last forever.
In her final days, Pat often talked about a peaceful place under a tree where she found
solace. She would describe children playing, their laughter and love filling the air, while a
divine presence watched over them. It was a heartwarming scene that represented a
truly wonderful experience.
As Pat peacefully left this world, many of us believe that this paradise she spoke of was
her version of heaven, where she has now ascended. We imagine her finding eternal
peace and joy in that warm and wholesome haven, embraced by the divine lord.
We invite family and friends to come and pay their respects during the visitation on
Tuesday, June 20, 2023, from 2-9pm. A prayer service will be held at 7 pm to honor Pat's
memory. The final moments leading to her resting place will be a private affair, reserved
for immediate family only.
In our shared sadness, let us also celebrate the incredible life of Petra L Garcia, or "Pat,"
and hold close the memories we made with her. May she find eternal peace in the loving
embrace of the heavens above.
