Pedro Sanchez, 76 Pedro Sanchez of Hidalgo, TX passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 20, 2020, at the age of 76. Pedro died peacefully with his beloved wife Amalia and their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren by his side. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gustavo Sanchez and Juana Calderon, daughter San Juanita Sanchez, sister Juany Sanchez, brother Francisco Sanchez and granddaughter Katherine Sanchez. Pedro is survived by his loving wife Amalia of 53 years of marriage, children Pedro, Jr.(Diana) Sanchez, Juana (Jesus) Castillo, Melissa Sanchez, Alfredo(Selenne) Sanchez, Gustavo (Elizabeth) Sanchez, Francisco (Lorena) Sanchez, Marisol (Lucio) Villagomez and Hector Ivan(Nicole) Sanchez. His sister Norma "Nora” Sanchez Escobedo as well as his 29 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Pedro was someone to look up to, someone to admire, someone to be proud of, someone to learn from and someone to respect. He was known for his hard work ethic and desire to take care of his family. He loved cooking for everybody and loved having his family over for lunch. He was always there for everyone, family, neighbors, and friends. The simplest pleasures in life brought him great joy. We will hold him in our heart until we can hold him again in Heaven. Visitation will be held at Deco Familia Hidalgo Funeral Home on Thursday, October 22, 2020 from 3pm to 7pm. Celebration of Life will be from 7pm to 8pm. Mass services will be on Friday, October 23, 2020 from 10am to 11am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Hidalgo, TX. Interment to follow at the City of Hidalgo Cemetery.
