Norma Linda Escobedo

Norma Linda Escobedo passed away on February 05, 2025 at Rio Grande Regional Hospital. Norma loved Tejano music, playing loteria, family gatherings, and taking care of the special little kids in her life. She was known by many simply as "Grandma" and she loved it. She made them feel loved and taken care of as one of her own, even though they weren't. Norma is survived by her daughter Dora (Rene) Mendez and her grandson David (Miguel) Ovalle Jr. She is also survived by her brother Joe (Marylou) Escobedo Jr, nephews Adrian Padron and Alejandro (Cassandra) Padron, Nieces Elizabeth (Parker) Lukjanovs and Kristen Escobedo she is predeceased by her parents Jose (Dora) Escobedo Sr. and her sister Alicia E Padron. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, February 11, 2025 at McAllen Funeral Home. The viewing will be held 5pm - 9pm. Rosary at 7:30pm. Burial will follow Wednesday February 12, 2025 at La Piedad Cemetery.
