Maria Renteria, a beloved matriarch and cherished friend, was welcomed into the world on May 3, 1930, in La Cienega Jalisco. It is with profound sadness that we announce her passing on November 24, 2024, in Huntington Park, California, leaving a legacy of love and devotion that has touched the hearts of many.

Maria's life was marked by resilience and warmth. She was a beacon of hope and strength for her family and friends, who will forever remember her gentle spirit and infectious laughter. Throughout her life, Maria nurtured those around her with boundless affection, always putting others before herself and sharing her wisdom through her actions.

Her journey through life was rich with experiences and deep connections. As a mother, her nurturing nature fostered a home filled with love and joy. Her legacy will live on through those who had the privilege of knowing her.

A visitation will be held to honor her memory on December 13, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at East Olympic Funeral Home, located at 4556 E Olympic Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90022. A Mass will follow starting at 7:30 PM that same day, where friends and family can come together to celebrate her life and the indelible mark she left on all who knew her.
