Maria A. Miranda August 8, 1940-November 9, 2021 Our beloved mother, Maria A. Miranda, 81, gained her wings on November 9, 2021, at McAllen Regional Hospital surrounded by her children. She fought a hard battle, and never did she waver just like the fighter that we knew she was. She was the strongest person we knew, and we will always remember her for that. She is preceded in death by her husband, Juan Miranda and her daughter, Maria Soledad Miranda. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Rogelio (Gabriela), Luz (Cesar), Juan (Amanda), Angelica (Marcos), Rosie (Arnold), and Leticia (Jorge), Also mourning her are her grandchildren Maxx, Johnny, Marcos Jr., Miguel, Amy, Ivan, Alejandro, Jorge Jr., and Elizabeth. Our mother was a very happy person who loved to cook, dance, play bingo, listen to music, sew, and be with her family. Her all-time favorite was making tamales and seeing everyone enjoy them. The memories that she left us with are endless and priceless. We will forever treasure them in our hearts. Her firm faith in God and Our Lady of Guadalupe was what made her strong and never let her give up on anything or anyone. Her bendiciones were sent to us every morning and night while she prayed the rosary. We feel blessed to have had her here on earth loving us and now having her as our guardian angel up in heaven.
