Marcelino Gregorio Rodriguez Zurita, a cherished husband, father, and friend, was born on April 26, 1958, in the beautiful region of Puebla, Mexico. He departed from this world on February 9, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, faith, and an unwavering devotion to his family and God.
For eight years, Marcelino dedicated his talents to his career as a seamster, where he utilized his skills to create and mend with care and precision. However, his passion extended far beyond his professional pursuits. Marcelino was a man of profound faith, finding solace and inspiration in reading his Bible. He lived his life as a testament to his love for God, radiating warmth and positivity to those around him.
Marcelino found immense joy in the simple things in life. Riding his bicycle was not just a pastime; it was his way of connecting with the world around him. With his beloved beanie perched atop his head, he would traverse the streets of Los Angeles, soaking in the beauty of life with every pedal stroke. A true handyman, he took pride in fixing things and lending a helping hand, embodying the spirit of generosity and kindness.
He leaves behind a loving family who will deeply miss him. His devoted wife, Lucina Petra Ruiz Cielo, shared a bond built on love and faith, a partnership that served as a foundation for their family. Marcelino's legacy continues through his six children: Maria Rodriguez, Gregorio Rodriguez, Honorina Rodriguez, Patricia Rodriguez, Michelle Rodriguez, and Aida Rodriguez. Each of them carries a piece of his spirit, embodying the values he instilled in them throughout their lives.
As family and friends prepare to honor his memory, a visitation will be held on March 1, 2025, at East Olympic Funeral Home located in Los Angeles, CA. The doors will open for those wishing to pay their respects starting at 5:00 PM, culminating with a closing at 9:00 PM.
