Joshua Ellis

On July 7th, 1991, in Bellflower, California, Candy Bonner and Marion Ellis welcomed a handsome baby boy, who they named Joshua Ellis.

Joshua attended Colin Powell Elementary and Hampton Middle School. He attended Lakewood High School and graduated in 2009.

Joshua knew the lord at an early age. He was accompanied by grandma (Marrietta Thurston) who proceeds him in death. Grandma made sure Josh went to church every Sunday. If he had on clothes grandma didn't approve of, she would make him cry and drive off real fast. He used to get in the middle of the street and chase the car. 

Joshua had a great love for his family and his music. He had a smile that could light up any room. He was a protector of his family, an amazing father and irreplaceable friend. 

On April 19th, 2022 Joshua was called home. He was welcomed in Heavens gates by Marrietta Thurstin (grandmother), Tony (uncle), Ernisha (cousin), Andrew (cousin). 

He leaves to honor his precious memories Marion Ellis (father), Candy Bonner (mother), two sisters Ambernique and Soliel, two brothers Caleb and Pericot Jr., Justice Gills (daughter) and pride and joy, three aunts Jody, Mary and Jeroma, Keymar (nephew), Plah'Reignna (niece), cousins Dale, Anthony (Kiana), Shenna, Timothy, MAck, MAtthew, Dominique, DeAnthony, TyShon, Barion, Anthony III, Briana, Ashten, Gunner, Demariah, Trayvon Jr., Tramarie, Tyroin, Lea and host of friends, family, homies and loved ones.
