Jesse grew up in Watts, California attended Compton high where he met and married Joanne Virginia when he came back from serving in the Korean War 1954 - 1957 a decorated Army Veteran 11th division 188th regiment (Paratrooper) that he was very proud to be until the day he took his last breath. He moved his family to La Mirada in 1967 where his life had become quite colorful, raising 10 kids not an easy feat but was always there for each and every one of us. He was a man of Pride, Love and Respect and his sense of human showed no bounds, he was charming charismatic, dedicated to his profession and loved ones; he was a Craftsman of wood and created the most amazing pieces for homes, companies etc. We learned the value of family how to be tough, speak your mind with respect and how to take care of ourselves there was nothing that he would not do for ALL his kids.
He was and still is a HERO to all of us, you will be forever in our hearts and you will never be forgotten, we will ALL miss our phone conversations, laughter, nicknames-(Leroy, Nigger Butt, Jacko, and Eiven the terrible) just to name a few, karate training and most of all the courage you taught us!
We LOVE you daddy may you rest in Heaven your mission is now complete!
