Jean Marie DeSantis passed away in her home in Ontario, California on December 22nd, 2020 due to complications from Kidney Failure. She was born on February 15th, 1944 in Hemet, California and was raised by Hobart “Barney” and Daisy Brooks in the town of Chino, California where she attended Chino High School. She is survived by her son Edward Dean Staudenmayer II, her daughter Deborah Jean Bell and her grandchildren Zachary and Kameron Bell. She died in her favorite time of year, no not Christmas, Football Season. She loved the game and was determined to dominate her Fantasy Football league with Family and Friends, which she did. Mom helped bring both of her grandkids into the world along her daughter’s side at their births. They cherished their grandmother with her “high-spirited” ways and hilarious sense of humor. Some of their best memories with her include going to the horse races, Super Bowl Sunday’s, and playing the “Rock Monster” with them on family trips to the Colorado River. She was always up for an adventure, allowing her to enjoy many travel opportunities across North America and Europe, among her favorites to see her son’s live performances from Broadway to Germany. She appeared never to be afraid of anything, always embracing change, living in multiple places in the Western United States and having a myriad of careers from owning her own businesses, driving a school bus, checking groceries, selling real estate, being a manicurist, and being a court appointed child monitor and caregiver to name a few. She was the ultimate survivor and will be deeply missed. A quote from a letter found with her final wishes said, “I had a wonderful life with not too much sorrow, Debbie and Eddie you made me laugh the most. I know we will see each other again.” Yes we will Mom, yes we will
