Beloved Sister

Janna L Tolleson, 68, passed away March 30, 2022 from Leukemia, with her brother and sister by her side at Kaiser Fontana Hospital. 

She was born November 10, 1953, in Fontana, to Bill and Jessie (Tolleson).

Janna grew up in Colton and later moved to Grand Terrace. She graduated from Colton Union High School in 1971. She attended SBVC College and earned her Associates degree. She was a member of the Colton Presbyterian Church, and kept her faith in God throughout her life. Her life’s interests included, Family gatherings and Holidays, especially when she could play with Jayson, Cody and Ciera. Later when Jayson was older she loved having Jayson come over working in the yard, doing odd jobs and sharing a meal together. Janna enjoyed Travel with sister Chris and friend Maria. Spain, Boston, Hilton Head, New Orleans (Mardi gras) and Washington D.C. were among a few of her favorites. She also loved her cats and treated them as true members of her family, Izzie Bella her cat for last 19 years had a special place in her heart. I think it would be an understatement to say she just loved her 43 years of work at the Federal Bankruptcy Court she understood the importance of the job and the need to get it right the first time, more importantly her co-workers became her extended family and one she was very proud of, she remained friends and kept in touch with many.

Janna is survived by her sister, Christina; brother, Thomas/spouse Gwen; niece Darla, nephew Jayson, 2 great niece/nephew and 1 great-great nephew. 

Janna has requested that she not have a memorial service but in lieu of flowers, if you wish donate to American Cancer Society or your local ASPCA.
