Born on December 27, 1958, in San Vicente El Salvador, Guillermo's journey was marked by warmth and an unwavering ability to connect with others.
As a Delivery Driver, Guillermo dedicated his life to service, always making it a point to brighten day of everyone he encountered. His proudest accomplishment was his gift for conversation; he cherished talking to people, listening to their stories, and sharing moments that fostered community and kinship.
Guillermo’s interests included dancing and walking, activities he relished for their connection to joy and movement. He was known for his gentle spirit and his innate ability to make others feel at ease, a true testament to his loving personality that drew people in.
He leaves behind a loving family who will forever hold him in their hearts. His beloved wife, Paula Nolasco, enjoyed countless memories with him, building a foundation of love and warmth. His children, Adrian Velasquez, William Velasquez, and Nancy Velasquez, will treasure their father's guidance and the indelible impact he had on their lives. Guillermo also delighted in the joy of being a grandfather to Adrian Rafael Velasquez, whom he adored deeply.
The Velasquez family invites all who knew and loved Guillermo to honor his memory during the visitation on November 26, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, at East Olympic Funeral Home, located at 4556 E Olympic Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90022. A Mass celebrating his life will follow on November 27, 2024, at 10:30 AM, also at East Olympic Funeral Home. The graveside service will take place at Oakdale Memorial Park, 1401 South Grand Avenue, Glendora, CA 91740, beginning at 1:00 PM.
