Gilbert Anthony Valenzuela

Gilbert Valenzuela passed away August 1, 2019 in Las Vegas, NV, at the age of 30. Gilbert was born July 28, 1989 to Lupe (Rodriguez) and Ramon Valenzuela Jr. of Paramount, CA. He graduated from Paramount High School in 2007 and eventually settled in Las Vegas where he worked for Nike and amassed many friends.

Gilbert was known for his quick wit, love of family and his ability to make anyone feel better just by talking with them. So many lives were enriched just by knowing Gilbert. He enjoyed scary movies, doing anything crafty or creative, and listening to oldies while cleaning his apartment. He also organized game nights with friends, spent lots of time in the pool and worked out regularly when he wasn't working or with friends.

He is survived by his mother, Lupe Valenzuela, sister Lydia (Shane) Warren of Seward, NE, brother Ramon (Cynthia) Valenzuela III and sister Yvonne (Vito) Sotelo, all of Paramount, CA. There are numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins who will miss him dearly, as well as his grandmother Carmen (Dominguez) Valenzuela. He was preceded in death by his father, Ramon Valenzuela Jr. and grandfather Ramon Valenzuela, Sr. 

Services will be held Saturday, August 17, 2019 at Rosecrans Funeral Home, located at 8545 Rosecrans Ave. in Paramount, CA from 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM.
