Eugenio Rosales

Eugenio Rosales was born on October 2nd, 1956 in Ahuacatlán, Nayarit, Mexico to parents Dionicia Arciniega Cortez and Manuel Rosales Guzman. He was raised in Rancho Rosales in Nayarit Municipio de Ixtlán de Rio in Nayarit, Mexico. He was the first born son of Dionicia and Manuel and had two older sisters, three younger brothers, and two younger sisters. He came to the United States in 1974 at the age of 18, and shortly after met the woman who would later become his wife Maria De La Paz Carvajal they settled in Los Angeles, California. They welcomed their first child Juan Manuel Rosales in 1978 and would go on to have 6 more children. Angelica Rosales born 1982, Jaime Rosales born 1983, Velinda Rosales born 1990, and triplet daughters Adriana, Alejandra, and Alma Rosales born in 1994.
Eugenio and Maria would go on to become grandparents for the first time in 1996.

Grandchildren: Oscar Manuel Rosales born 1996, Keven Rosales born 1999, Valerie Murillo-Rosales born 2000, Ashley Rosales born 2000, Vianna Murillo born 2003, Tiffany Rosales born 2007, Abigail Arana born 2009, Valentin Campos-Rosales born 2009, Kaylee Arana born 2012, Bella Martinez born 2012, Jacob Almendarez born 2013, Aleczander Hernandez born 2015, Jiana Rosales born 2018, and Victoria Campos born 2018. He loved all his grandchildren and they all loved him dearly.

Eugenio was a practicing Catholic and attended Saint Agnes church on Sundays. In his free time outside of work he enjoyed spending time with his family, loved having family cookouts, going to the park with his kids and grandchildren , and story telling about life. His close friends always valued his friendship and would often call him by the nickname “el jefe” or “el cholo.”

He passed away at his home on the morning of October 10, 2019. Eugenio will be remembered as a humble, brave, honest, caring, humorous, beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend.
