Donald Leroy Serl

Donald L Serl - Beloved Husband, Father and Grandfather. Don was born on June 11, 1943 in San Antonio Community Hospital, Upland California and died on February 11, 2022 in Eastvale California.

He was the Son of Charles and Rosalie Serl, and had 2 older Sisters, Norma and Dorothy. Don was raised in Ontario and Graduated from Chino High School in 1962.  He married Carol Evonne Jarvis in 1965 in Ontario. They had 3 Children, Alan, Becky and Lori.  In 1973, he moved his family to the Riverside County area now known as Jurupa Valley where Don and Evonne had lived since.

Don had worked at several jobs: his father's pig farm and at Knudsen’s Dairy in Chino. He went to work at Chino Grain and Milling and worked his way up from the mill labor to diesel truck driver delivering cattle grain to local dairies, Coast Grain bought Chino Grain where Don worked until it went out of business. Don then worked at for a local trucking company hauling rock and dirt until he retired in 2011. Don took care of his Mother until she passed away in 2016.

Don enjoyed gardening, relaxing with a cold beer in his hand and a good TV show or old country music. 

Don is preceded in death by his Parents, his Sister Dorothy, niece Joanne and Daughter-in-Law Melissa.  He leaves behind and will be very missed by his wife Evonne, sister Norma, children: Alan, Becky (Dennis) and Lori (Shawn) and his Grandchildren: Alex, Andrew, Miles, Jacob, Brittney, Cameron and Jerrica. Great Grandchildren: Skyler, Zachary and Barrett.  He also leaves behind nephews and nieces.
