Debora Ann Koppi

Debora was born in Waterloo, Iowa on November 19, 1954 and died in California on September 1, 2019.  She was the eldest of seven children. Her parents, Ridgway and Mary Ellen Koppi, as well as two of her brothers, Paul Joseph and Patrick Davis Koppi preceded her in death. Four siblings: Michael, James, Mary Kathleen and Timothy Koppi remain.

Debora received her degree as a Registered Nurse from Charity Hospital School of Nursing in New Orleans. She worked at Nursing across the country and overseas taking advantage of each location to explore and travel. She made life-long friends each step of the way.  She battled Breast Cancer for over 4 years until it claimed her.

Many thanks to all who sent her prayers and best wishes including her dear friend Lucy who supported her until the end. Please, in lieu of flowers, Debbie would wish for a donation to your local SPCA or animal shelter.

We plan to place Debbie’s remains at St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Laurie Missouri with the other family members.
