Darren Antonio Luevano, better known to friends and family by "Tony" , passed away mid noon on the 26th of May at the age of 53. Tony was born April 15, 1968 in Tijuana, Mexico and was the eldest of seven children.
Born to a single mother household and being the eldest, Tony was thrust into the role of immense responsibility at a young age which instilled the traits of being hard working, determined, and loving; things he would continue having throughout his life. He moved to California at the age of 16 where he attended school until he graduated in 1987. Following that he attended Los Angeles Tech and received a degree in electrical engineering which would be his trade work for the next 32 years of his life.
In August of 1995, Tony met his first wife, Yesenia Carrillo, who is the mother to his two handsome sons; his greatest pride and joy in the world. They would later marry in November of 1996 and have their first son Bryan in 1998 and their second son Darren in 2002. The birth of their second son brought a big move from Los Angeles County to the High Desert where Tony and his family would live and grow for the next two decades, enjoying their time together as a family and making many memories with the numerous trips they would take. He would later remarry in March of 2019 to his current wife Kitzia Luevano where they shared three loving years together building his dream ranch and entertaining family and friends.
Tony was enjoying an early retirement due to the pandemic impacting his work. He had been loving the extra time he was now given to spend on his 10 acre ranch and getting the opportunity to spend more time with his family and his many animals on the ranch; who he considered part of his family. He loved the outdoors and was always staying busy by repairing and building new things on his ranch. He also had recently found a passion in hiking the many mountain ranges in and near his property. He was quoted saying many times, “I love being up here, you can see all of God's beauty from here." His world strongly revolved around his two sons, Bryan and Darren and everything he did in life he did for them no matter the cost; even in retirement he had so many goals to accomplish with and for them, that will go unfinished due to his untimely passing. Although Tony was taken from us too soon he lived a full and happy life touching everyone's heart with his kindness and always brought joy and laughter to those he came in contact with. He will be greatly missed but his impact, kind heart and love will never be forgotten.
Darren Antonio Luevano is survived by his wife Kitzia Luevano; his ex wife Yesenia, mother of his two sons Bryan and Darren, his brothers Sammy Luevano, Frank Flores, John Bell, Mudah Ceja, and his sisters Lily Ochoa and Jacqueline Ceja and his mother Bellamaria Ceja and the many friends he made along the way.
