Danny was born on November 15, 1943, in Colton, CA to the late Daniel and Josephine Cordero.  At the age of 18, Danny enlisted in the U.S. Army serving in the Army Reserves for 5 years before entering active duty in 1967.  After serving in the Vietnam War, Danny married his high school sweetheart Olga Espinoza on March 7, 1970, and together they raised their three children.

Danny was involved in both the Colton Youth Soccer Organization (CYSO) and Carl Rimbaugh Girls Softball League as a coach from 1981 – 1986.  Danny was a dedicated Rams fans (from Los Angeles to St. Louis to their return in Los Angeles).  Danny enjoyed visiting the local casinos (San Bernardino County to San Diego County), coaching his children in sports and life decisions, being a spectator and fan at his grandchildren’s sporting events, witnessing the accomplishments of his children and grandchildren, and taking vacation trips with his wife. But most importantly, he enjoyed spending time with his family.
