Aurora Muñoz Gonzalez

Our beloved mother and grandmother, Aurora Munoz, left us on January 27th, 2025. Loved, missed, and survived by her 9 children, 17 grandchildren, and 20 great grandchildren. Aurora Munoz was a housewife who cherished, ferociously defended, and took care of her 10 children. Born in Nochistlan, Zacatecas to Hipolito Munoz and Concepcion Gonzalez on June 10th, 1942. She later moved with her two eldest children to Santa Clara and then Teocaltichillo, where she gave life to 8 more children whom she loved deeply. Although she migrated multiple times to and from the United States, she started her permanent stay in Los Angeles in 1991. She was a woman who cared deeply for her family and was generous with her time and resources she had. She had a talent for cooking and making sure that her children and her household were always clean and presentable. Although her last years of life were difficult because of her Alzhemer’s and dementia diagnosis, she leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, and generosity towards her loved ones and anyone who knew her.

Nuestra amada madre y abuela, Aurora Muñoz, nos dejó el 27 de enero de 2025. Amada y extrañada por sus 9 hijos vivos, sus 17 nietos y sus 20 bisnietos. Aurora Muñoz fue una ama de casa que atesoraba, defendía y ferozmente cuidaba a sus 10 hijos. Hija de Hipólito Muñoz y Concepción González, nació en Nochistlán, Zacatecas el 10 de junio de 1942. Más tarde se mudó con sus dos hijos mayores a Santa Clara y después a Teocaltichillo, donde dio vida a 8 hijos más a quienes profundamente amaba. Aunque migró varias veces hacia y desde Estados Unidos, en 1991 estableció su residencia permanente en Los Ángeles. Fue una mujer que profundamente se preocupaba por su familia, siendo generosa con su tiempo y con los recursos que tenía. Talentosa para la cocina, siempre se aseguraba de que sus hijos y su hogar estuvieran limpios y presentables. Aunque sus últimos años de vida fueron difíciles debido a su diagnóstico de Alzheimer y demencia, deja un legado de amor, compasión y generosidad hacia sus seres queridos y todos quienes la conocieron.
