On Tuesday, November 24, 2020, Alicia Allison Perez, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, passed away at the age of 77.

Alicia was born on September 27, 1943 in Ahuacatlan, Nayarit, Mexico to Jose Humberto Perez and Maria del Rosario Garcia de Perez. Alicia came from a large family with five brothers and two sisters. Alicia attended college to become a secretary in Mexico. She worked as a secretary and did accounting for her family’s business. When Alicia was 18 she married and moved to Needles, California. Later she had three children, Evelyn, Roy, and Deborah. As time passed Alicia held jobs in waitressing, selling Stanley Home products, and restaurant management. In 1997 Alicia married Virgil Allison and resided in Chino, California. She also gained a beloved stepson, Steve.

All of her life Alicia was a dancer. In her youth and teen years Alicia danced in the style of Jarabe Tapatio (the Mexican Hat Dance) at events in Mexico and continued dancing when she moved to the U.S.. She also loved listening and singing to her favorite artists such as Vicente Fernandez and Los Dandys. She even danced and sang to her favorite songs at her 76th birthday. Alicia had a strong faith. It was important to her to attend mass and pray often. One of the most significant parts of Alicia’s life was her family. She was constantly thinking of others. She loved to spend time with her family and called her children every night. Overall, what sums up Alicia the most was her infectious smile. No matter what struggles or obstacles she endured her spirits were always high.

Alicia was preceded in death by her father Humberto, and her mother, Rosario. She is survived by her siblings, Angelina, Victor, Marco Antonio, Humberto, Juan Jose, Blanca, and Carlos, her husband, Virgil Allison, and her children, Evelyn, Roy, Deborah, and Steve as well as her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Alicia’s Viewing/Rosary is December 10, 2020 at Richardson Peterson Funeral Home 123 West G Street, Ontario, CA, 91762 at 4 o’clock in the evening. Funeral Mass is December 11, 2020 at St. Margaret Mary 1286, Central Ave., Chino, CA, 91710 at 1 o’ clock in the afternoon. The Burial will follow the mass at Bellevue Memorial Park 1240 West G Street, Ontario, Ca, 91762.
